Lazy Moon buys space in College Park

Lazy Moon, a popular pizzeria with locations in downtown Orlando and near the University of Central Florida, looks to be expanding to College Park. (S.T. Cardinal)

Lazy Moon, the pizzeria known for its giant pies, bought space in the Truffles and Trifles building at 711 W. Smith St. according to Truffles and Trifles ownership.

Lazy Moon management did not respond to comment. Check back with more information as we learn more.

Correction: An earlier version of this article had the headline “Lazy Moon set to expand to College Park”. Though Lazy Moon did buy space in College Park, another media outlet has reported they are not using the space to open a restaurant. We have changed the headline to reflect that information.

I cannot remember being more let down by an incorrect news story than this one. Try actually talking to them and not jumping the gun.

      Hello Chris,
Thanks for reading. We published the news that Lazy Moon purchased space in the Truffles and Trifles building as we considered it big news for College Park. We confirmed the sale with Truffles and Trifles ownership but did not hear back from Lazy Moon on what they were planning for the space, so we published the information we had. We take accuracy in our reporting very seriously. Be sure to stay tuned as we learn more.
