Gotcha Drinks and Desserts recently opened at 4438A Curry Ford Road in the Conway Plaza. Gotcha serves matcha, boba tea, bubble tea, crema, smoothies and coffee.

Revive Health and Fitness opens

Revive Health and Fitness recently opened at 4020 Curry Ford Road. It offers team and semi-private training in conjunction with nutrition coaching and 3-D body scans. They also have a smoothie and snack bar that is open to the public.  

Curry Ford West is surveying businesses through October 15

The Curry Ford West Main Street District is running a business survey through October 15. The purpose is to help Curry Ford West formulate support for their hyper-local economy.

Leafy Hotpot & BBQ

A new restaurant is coming to SoDo. Leafy Hotpot & BBQ is coming to 2447 S. Orange Avenue, the space formerly occupied by Chai Thai, according to their Instagram. They plan to serve “all you can eat” soups such as Thai Tom Yum, Miso, seafood, mushroom, tomato, and leafy spicy soup. No opening date has been set yet.

Authentic Books to open first location in Ivanhoe Village

A bookstore is coming to Ivanhoe Village. Cholo Dogs opens in new location

  Cholo Dogs, “Orlando’s #1 Mexican Street Weens,” has moved into the Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co. The Lake Eola spot offers a variety of hot dogs as well as a couple of starters and sides, plus smash burgers, salads, rice bowls, brunch and more, according to their Instagram account. This is currently Cholo’s only brick-and-mortar location.

Dixie Coin Laundry has new owners and name

Carl Humphrey is the new owner of Dixie Coin Laundry located at 1502 Edgewater Drive. The laundromat will undergo a name change to College Park Laundry and be run by Humphrey and his son, Chad. The Co. on Summerlin is celebrating their first anniversary in Thornton Park. The Downtown Orlando lifestyle boutique sells a mix of greenery, styles, gifts and local “good goods.” The collective of makers at 115 N. Summerlin Avenue is open Wednesdays to Fridays from noon to 6:00 p.m., and on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
